Resolving Concerns and Complaints

We are committed to walking alongside you. If you experience a challenge in your academic, ministry, or student life experience at HCLI, we want to hear from you. We are here to respond with integrity, humility, and care.

Highlands College is an active participant in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), administered by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education. If you are an HCLI student residing outside of Alabama and have a concern related to the quality of your distance education experience or a potential violation of SARA standards, you should first reach out to HCLI through the form linked above so we can resolve the issue internally. If your concern is not resolved through our internal resolution process, you may submit it for review through the NC-SARA process outlined in our Resolution Policy.

To learn more about the NC-SARA process, view this guide from ACHE. If you have additional questions, please contact email hcli@highlandscollege.edu.
